Dr. Amir Firouzjaei

Dr. Amir Firouzjaei is a general practitioner at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai with 19 years of clinical experience. He holds an MD in General Medicine from Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in Iran and a PhD in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China. Throughout his career, he has held academic positions including Professor of Chinese Medicine at both Tabriz University and Iran University of Medical Sciences, and has trained practitioners through the Iranian Scientific Acupuncture Association.

Dr. Firouzjaei treats a wide range of conditions using both conventional and traditional Chinese medicine approaches, including infertility, menstrual and menopausal problems, insomnia, anxiety, stress, and various types of pain (migraine, lower back, neck, shoulder, and knee pain). He has served as director of acupuncture and Chinese medicine departments at multiple clinics and has worked in emergency medicine, general practice, and pain management settings across Iran and the UAE.

He emphasizes treating the underlying causes of disease rather than symptoms alone, practices preventive medicine, and focuses on lifestyle modification and minimal side effects. His work includes peer review of international scientific journals, conference presentations, and authoring two books in his field.
