Dr. Mohamed Hassan Said

Dr. Mohamed Hassan Said is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Alexandria Faculty of Medicine with 20 years of clinical experience. He is a specialist in vitreo-retinal surgery—the treatment of conditions affecting the retina and gel-like substance inside the eye—with particular expertise in diabetic eye diseases and complex retinal problems. He trained at Alexandria University, earning his MB BCh with Excellent with Honors in 2007 (Second Graduate Ranking), followed by a Master's degree in Ophthalmology (2013) and a PhD in Ophthalmology (2018).

Dr. Said offers a comprehensive range of eye care services, including vitreo-retinal surgery for advanced retinal conditions, LASIK and other refractive surgeries to correct vision problems, cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation, glaucoma management, and treatment for dry eye disease.
