Dr. Rumman Abbas Khan Langah

Dr. Rumman Abbas Khan Langah is a Staff Physician in the Hospital Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He brings 21 years of clinical experience, including nine years (2009–2018) at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, where he held leadership roles as Medical Director of the Progressive Care Unit and Associate Site Director for Hospital Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine with a focused practice in Hospital Medicine, and also holds certifications in Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. Langah trained at leading U.S. institutions: he completed his internal medicine residency at East Tennessee State University and his nuclear medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. His clinical practice spans the management of acute medical conditions including heart failure, pneumonia, blood clots, and diabetes, with a particular focus on coordinating care for hospitalized patients.

At Emory, Dr. Langah was recognized for driving quality initiatives—notably leading the COPD Power Plan initiative, which was adopted hospital-wide—and for fostering education and mentorship. He received Emory's highest divisional award for Hospital Medicine excellence in 2016 and gave the best internal medicine grand rounds presentation that year. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
