Prof. Mahmoud Marashi (ID*)

Prof. Mahmoud Marashi is a Consultant Haematologist at Mediclinic City Hospital with over 30 years of experience in blood disorders and blood cancers. He established the clinical haematology service at Dubai Health Authority and leads both undergraduate and postgraduate training programmes in haematology. He is a Professor of Medicine and Haematology and heads the Academic Department of Medicine at Dubai Medical College / Dubai Health Authority.

Prof. Marashi manages a wide range of blood disorders, including anaemias (low red blood cells), bleeding disorders, blood clots, and blood cancers such as leukaemia, myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndrome. His training spanned leading UK centres including Heartlands Hospital and John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he gained expertise in both routine and complex blood conditions.

With over 20 years involved in medical education, he serves as an external examiner for the Royal College of Physicians of the UK. He is well suited for patients needing specialist assessment of blood-related conditions, those with rare blood disorders, and those requiring complex diagnostic evaluation.
