Dr. Govinda Bodi

Dr. Govinda Saicharan Bodi is an Associate Staff Physician in the Pulmonary Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He trained in respiratory medicine at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, and spent 12 years as an Assistant Professor there while working as an honorary consultant at Apollo Hospitals. He then moved to the UAE, working as a specialist pulmonologist at Burjeel Hospital and Ahalia Hospital before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Bodi has 18 years of experience managing complex lung conditions. He specializes in airway disorders, pulmonary infections (including drug-resistant tuberculosis), sleep apnea, and autoimmune lung diseases. He has published research and presented at international conferences, with particular interest in the health benefits of meditation and yogic breathing techniques.
