Dr. Rebecca Schofield

Rebecca is a British-trained physiotherapist who graduated in 2009 from The University of Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Since qualifying, she has worked across the UK in hospitals, schools and clinics with both adults and children, specializing in paediatrics from 2011 onwards. She joined Mediclinic City Hospital in 2014, where she worked with children in intensive care units (PICU and NICU) and the children's ward, as well as in outpatient clinics treating children with orthopaedic, neurological and developmental conditions.

Rebecca now practices at Mediclinic Springs in a dedicated child-friendly clinic environment. She has completed postgraduate training in paediatric cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, Bobath therapy (a hands-on movement technique), Schroth best practice for spinal conditions, dry needling and pilates principles adapted for children. She treats a wide range of paediatric conditions including developmental delay, scoliosis, plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), and paediatric respiratory problems, with particular expertise in cystic fibrosis management.

Rebecca is a chartered member of the UK's Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP), and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC). She is well suited to families seeking specialist movement and breathing therapy for children with complex or developmental needs.
