Dr. Rana Alchujaa

Dr. Rana Alchujaa is a board-certified gastroenterologist with over a decade of medical experience. She earned her M.D. in 2014 from the University of Kalamoon in Syria and completed advanced training with a master's degree in gastroenterology followed by a master's degree in liver diseases from Tishreen Hospital in 2021. She has worked as a gastroenterologist at several prominent hospitals in Damascus, providing specialized care in digestive and liver health.

Dr. Rana diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions affecting the stomach, intestines, and liver. She performs upper endoscopy (camera examination of the food pipe and stomach), colonoscopy (camera examination of the colon), and sigmoidoscopy (examination of the lower colon). She is experienced in removing polyps, foreign bodies, and placing gastric balloons for weight management. She also diagnoses and treats liver conditions including hepatitis, cirrhosis, and fatty liver disease, as well as biliary and pancreatic disorders.
