Dr. Kefah Hassan Taher

Dr. Kefah Taher is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with over 15 years of experience in Denmark before relocating to Dubai in 2009. She trained in Denmark and holds Danish board certification in her specialty. She now practices at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital Dubai, where she has built extensive experience across the full breadth of obstetric and gynaecological care.

Dr. Taher manages both routine and high-risk pregnancies, performing hundreds of normal deliveries and caesarean sections throughout her career. Her core clinical work includes simple and complex caesarean sections, keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery, removal of the womb via abdominal or vaginal approaches, treatment of uterine fibroids using medical or surgical methods, management of vaginal prolapse, investigation and treatment of recurrent miscarriage, and surgical correction of urinary incontinence.
