Dr. Salim Alowais Alshamsi

Dr. Alowais is a consultant dermatologist with over a decade of experience in general dermatology, venereology and occupational skin disease. He trained at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (2008–2012) and holds an MBBS from Gulf Medical University (2007) and an MSc in Clinical Dermatology from Cardiff University (2022). He currently practices at HealthPoint in Abu Dhabi and previously worked as a medical doctor at ADNOC and the Ministry of Health and Prevention.

Dr. Alowais treats a broad range of skin, hair and nail conditions using non-invasive and surgical methods. His expertise covers general dermatology, allergic skin reactions, occupational dermatitis, autoimmune skin disorders (including psoriasis, vitiligo and eczema), and aesthetic procedures.
