Dr Lucia Nirmalanayagam is a UK board-certified Consultant in Family Medicine with over 15 years of clinical experience. She relocated to Dubai in January 2024 and now practises at NMC Healthcare, where she provides comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across all ages. Before moving to the UAE, she served as a Family Medicine Consultant and GP Clinical Lead in Bromley, UK, where she focused on learning disability and autism services alongside urgent and emergency care.
Dr Nirmalanayagam treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in both walk-in and pre-booked appointments. Her acute care experience covers fever, colds and flu, cough, sinusitis, ear and throat pain, urinary tract infections, abdominal pain, and rashes. For long-term conditions, she manages high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
