Dr. Vivek Misra

Dr. Vivek Misra is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon practising at Medcare Medical Centre's Al Barsha and Jumeirah Beach Road branches in Dubai. He trained at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India, where he completed both his undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) and specialist orthopaedic qualification (MS). He then pursued advanced training in arthroscopy (keyhole joint surgery) in Strasbourg, France, and completed the Arab Spine Course Diploma in Dubai. Over his 24-year career, he has worked across India and the UAE, holding positions as a senior resident in Delhi, consultant in Kanpur, and specialist surgeon at leading hospitals including Zulekha Hospital Sharjah, Aster Medical Centre and HealthHub Clinics before joining Medcare.

Dr. Misra specializes in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of spine problems, particularly disc disorders affecting the neck and lower back. He manages a broad range of orthopaedic conditions including sports injuries, joint replacement surgery, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, trauma injuries, arthritis and paediatric bone and joint problems.
