Dr. Arshina Nazar

Arshina Nazar is a Clinical Dietitian with over 5 years of experience in clinical nutrition and dietetics. She currently works at NMC Royal Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where she provides nutritional care for both inpatients and outpatients. Her practice has a particular focus on pregnancy-related nutrition and gynaecology cases, helping expectant mothers and women manage their dietary needs during this critical time.

Her expertise spans the nutritional management of pregnancy complications including gestational diabetes (high blood sugar during pregnancy), anaemia (low iron), and preeclampsia (high blood pressure in pregnancy), as well as weight management, children's nutrition, and chronic diseases linked to lifestyle such as diabetes and heart disease. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant dietitian at leading polyclinics in Dubai and as a junior dietitian at a major hospital in Kerala, India, where she cared for critically ill patients requiring specialised feeding support including tube feeding and intravenous nutrition.

Arshina combines evidence-based dietary planning with patient education and regular follow-up to help improve health outcomes and quality of life. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and holds registrations with both the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Department of Health (DOH).
