Dr. Harish Prabhu

Dr Harish is a Specialist Nephrologist with 7 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of kidney diseases. He trained at Kerala University (MBBS) and Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in India, where he completed an MD in General Medicine and specialist DM qualification in Nephrology. He has also passed the Specialty Certificate Examination in Nephrology awarded by the Royal College of Physicians (European Board). Before joining NMC Healthcare Al Ain, he worked as a Specialist Nephrologist at a private tertiary hospital in Abu Dhabi, managing high-volume outpatient clinics and complex renal cases.

Dr Harish manages a broad range of kidney conditions including acute and chronic kidney disease, diabetic and hypertensive kidney disease, kidney stones, urinary tract and kidney infections, and electrolyte imbalances. He has extensive experience with dialysis (both short and long-term), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), renal transplant follow-up, dialysis catheter insertion for vascular access, and kidney biopsy procedures.
