Dr. Rupila Bhatia

Dr. Rupila Bhatia is an obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 30 years of post-graduate experience. She holds a Diploma and Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery from the World Laparoscopy Hospital in New Delhi, India, and has been practising in Al Ain since 1996. She recently joined Mediclinic from her role as Director of the Gynaecology, Endoscopy, Urogynaecology and Female Health clinic at Al Ain Cromwell Hospital.

Dr. Bhatia has independently managed more than 10,400 complex deliveries and 15,500 non-complex deliveries throughout her career. She has extensive experience in advanced surgical techniques, including 7,200 major operative procedures, 1,375 minimally invasive (keyhole) procedures, 400 vaginal surgeries, and 300 laser procedures. Her clinical focus spans high-risk pregnancies, fertility and assisted reproductive techniques, advanced ultrasound imaging, diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and treatment of pelvic conditions including urinary incontinence and female sexual dysfunction.
