About Dr. Lamey
Dr. Ahmed Lamey is a Consultant General, Laparoscopic, and Bariatric Surgeon at Burjeel Royal Hospital in Al Ain, with 15 years of surgical experience. He holds an MD in General Surgery and is certified by both the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the European Board of Surgery (FEBS). From 2022 to 2024, he served as Medical Director of Royal Specialized Hospital in Dubai, and he remains a Lecturer in General Surgery in Egypt.
Dr. Lamey has performed over 10,000 general surgery procedures and more than 1,000 bariatric surgeries. His clinical work covers weight-loss surgery, breast reconstruction after cancer, thyroid and parathyroid conditions, bowel surgery, hernia repair, tummy tucks, liposuction, and fat transfer.
