Dr. Ahmed Sultan

Dr. Ahmed Sultan is a Consultant Gastroenterology & Hepatology specialist practising at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi. He brings extensive experience in managing liver and digestive disorders, with particular expertise in performing advanced endoscopic procedures. His training includes an M.D. and PhD in Gastroenterology & Hepatology from Egypt, and he maintains multiple international publications throughout his career.

Dr. Sultan performs a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), enteroscopy, capsule endoscopy, and early gastrointestinal tumour resections using advanced 3rd-space techniques. He treats conditions ranging from common digestive issues like reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, and constipation to more complex liver diseases including viral hepatitis and fatty liver disease, as well as inflammatory bowel conditions such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
