Dr. Irshad Mazhar Mohiuddin

Dr. Irshad Mazhar Mohiuddin is a specialist otolaryngologist (ENT doctor) at Medcare Hospital in Sharjah with 20 years of clinical experience. He trained in medicine at Government Medical College in Aurangabad, India, followed by postgraduate ENT training at B.J. Medical College and Sassoon Hospital in India. He holds the Diplomate of National Board qualification in ENT from New Delhi and is a Fellow of the European Board of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, based in Vienna. He is registered with the Dubai Health Authority and UAE Ministry of Health, as well as the Maharashtra Medical Council in India.

Dr. Mohiuddin has worked across multiple hospitals in the region—including Ibra Hospital in Oman, Zulekha Hospital, Burjeel Hospital, Ishaq bin Omran Medical Center and Belhoul Specialty Hospital in Sharjah and Dubai, and MedStar Daycare Hospital. He specializes in functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) for nasal polyps and sinus problems, septoplasty and turbinate reduction for breathing issues, treatment of snoring and sleep apnoea, and allergy diagnosis and immunotherapy. He also performs micro-ear surgery including eardrum repair (tympanoplasty), grommets insertion and mastoid surgery, as well as external ear surgery and benign lesion removal.
