Prof. Mohammed M.El-Mah

Prof. Mohammed El-Mah is a hand and microsurgery specialist with over 38 years of experience treating complex injuries and conditions of the hand, wrist, and upper extremity. He trained at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, completed advanced microsurgery training in Italy, and undertook a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina, USA. He held the position of Professor and Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Ain Shams University before moving to the UAE, where he has worked as a visiting hand surgery consultant since 2017.

Prof. El-Mah specializes in microsurgical reconstruction, including vascularized bone transfer and nerve repair for peripheral nerve injuries of the upper limb. He has treated a broad range of hand trauma, nerve damage, and orthopedic conditions throughout his career and contributed significantly to medical research and surgical education in his field.

He is well suited for patients requiring complex hand surgery, nerve reconstruction, or microsurgical expertise, particularly those with severe hand trauma, nerve injuries, or conditions requiring specialized microvascular techniques.
