Dr. Ghanem Ismail

Dr. Ghanem Ismail is an Associate Staff Physician in the Cardiovascular Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He completed his medical degree at Kaunas University of Medicine in Lithuania, then trained in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine at Hammoud Hospital Medical Center in Lebanon, where he spent over a decade developing expertise in cardiology.

Dr. Ismail has extensive experience in cardiac evaluation and heart health screening. He treats heart rate disturbances, high blood pressure, heart disease, and chest pain related to the heart. He is particularly skilled in echocardiography—ultrasound imaging of the heart—which he performed and supervised at his previous hospital. His practice focuses on comprehensive assessment and management of cardiovascular conditions using both clinical examination and advanced imaging.

He brings over two decades of clinical experience, including roles as a consultant cardiologist at leading hospitals and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency in Lebanon before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
