Dr. Ghada Al Batran

Dr. Ghada Al Batran is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience in women's reproductive health. She trained in Iraq, the UAE and the UK, and holds fellowship status with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) as well as the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH). She practices at multiple Mediclinic locations across Dubai.

Dr. Al Batran offers comprehensive maternity care, including antenatal screening and monitoring for low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, and provides delivery services. She has particular expertise in early pregnancy problems, recurrent miscarriage, and managing pregnant women with underlying conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and thyroid disorders. She also treats menstrual disorders, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and menopausal symptoms, and performs colposcopy, cervical screening, biopsies and minor gynaecological procedures.

She emphasises shared decision-making, tailoring care to each patient's needs while maintaining a respectful, professional environment. Her approach spans fertility assessment, contraceptive counselling and preventive women's health check-ups.
