Dr. Amani Elkhalifa

Dr. Amani Elkhalifa is an emergency medicine specialist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with 3 years of clinical experience. She holds dual board certifications from the Arab Board of Health Specializations and the Jordan Medical Council in accident and emergency medicine. Dr. Elkhalifa trained in medicine at the University of Science & Technology in Sudan and completed an internship at Ain Shams University Hospital in Egypt before joining SSMC.

Dr. Elkhalifa is skilled in managing acute medical emergencies across all age groups, with particular expertise in trauma care and pediatric resuscitation. She holds certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS), equipping her to manage everything from life-threatening injuries to cardiac emergencies and pediatric crises.

She is a fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and has interests in physician wellbeing and palliative care integration within emergency settings.
