Dr. Maria Awais

Dr. Maria Awais is an internal medicine specialist with over 15 years of clinical experience across Pakistan, Oman, and the UAE. She graduated from King Edward Medical College in Pakistan in 2005 and has built her expertise through continuous postgraduate training in the UK, including specialist certifications in endocrinology, diabetes, respiratory medicine, and emergency medicine. She holds memberships with the Royal College of Physicians (Ireland and Glasgow) and has recently completed training in emergency medicine to expand her capabilities in acute care.

Dr. Awais treats a broad range of conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid problems, asthma, bronchitis, COPD, heart disease, allergies, infections, anemia, anxiety and depression, and obesity. She specializes in managing metabolic and endocrine disorders and uses a holistic approach to patient care, considering all aspects of wellbeing. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Obesity and Weight Management from the University of South Wales to deepen her expertise in metabolic health.

She speaks fluent English, Hindi, and Urdu, and prides herself on culturally sensitive communication and understanding patients' personal needs.
