Dr. Ravi Gutta

Dr. Ravi Gutta is a Consultant in Allergy and Immunology at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Allergy & Immunology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in the USA, where he served as chief fellow. He is American Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy & Immunology, having ranked in the top ten percent nationally on both board examinations. Dr. Gutta brings extensive experience managing allergic and immunologic conditions in both adults and children.

At the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Gutta held a distinguished academic career as Head of Adult and Pediatric Allergy Clinics and Program Director for the Allergy and Immunology Fellowship—the youngest person to hold this role nationally. His clinical expertise spans primary immunodeficiency, complex asthma, chronic cough, food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis (inflammation of the food pipe), atopic dermatitis, chronic urticaria (hives), and allergen immunotherapy (desensitization treatment). He also specializes in drug allergies and contrast media reactions, as well as systemic mastocytosis (a rare immune cell disorder). He led immunological clinical trials and headed specialized clinics for chronic cough and food allergy.
