Dr. Gyan Prasad Pokhrel

Dr. Gyan Prasad Pokhrel is a Specialist General Surgeon at NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Nahda, with over 22 years of clinical experience. He trained at leading medical institutions in India, earning his MBBS from the Institute of Medical Sciences at BHU Varanasi and his MS in General Surgery from IGMC Shimla. He then completed advanced laparoscopic training at KGMC Lucknow (2003) and specialized further in complex hernia repair at Max Hospital, New Delhi (2014), followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery from AMASI (2016).

Dr. Pokhrel performs a full range of general and keyhole (laparoscopic) procedures, including appendix removal, hernia repair, gallbladder removal, bowel resection, breast surgery, and hemorrhoid treatment.
