Dr. Nilesh Srivastav

Dr. Nilesh Srivastav is an Associate Staff Physician in the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, specializing in cardiac and thoracic surgery. He brings 16 years of clinical experience across India, Australia, and the UK, with advanced training in complex adult cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support. He is also a lecturer at the University of Melbourne and an honorary faculty member and examiner there.

Dr. Srivastav has completed over 3,000 heart and lung surgeries independently and participated in more than 9,000 procedures globally. His clinical expertise spans coronary bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, adult congenital heart surgery, heart and lung transplantation, and mechanical support devices including ECMO. He is trained in robotic surgery (da Vinci Xi systems) and brings a research focus on artificial intelligence in medicine, currently pursuing a PhD in AI from the University of Melbourne.
