Dr. Nesrine Marouani

Dr. Nesrine Marouani is a French board-certified endocrinologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. She completed her medical degree at Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris and Jean Monnet University in Saint-Étienne, followed by specialist training in endocrinology, nephrology, and infectious disease. She previously served as Head of the Endocrine Clinic at Saint-Étienne Hospital and Jean Monnet University, where she managed both outpatient and inpatient services while teaching medical students and trainees.

Dr. Marouani treats a broad range of endocrine conditions including thyroid, parathyroid, and pituitary disorders; reproductive hormone imbalances such as polycystic ovary syndrome, amenorrhea, and hirsutism; lipid disorders; metabolic syndrome; and both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. She has particular expertise in modern diabetes technology, including continuous glucose monitors (Freestyle, Dexcom G6/G7), insulin pumps (Roche, Medtronic, Omnipod), and automated insulin delivery systems (t:slim X2, MiniMed 780G). She also manages obesity with medications including GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP receptor agonists, and provides pre- and post-bariatric surgery support.

Since relocating to Switzerland in 2020, she has worked as an independent consultant endocrinologist and served at the Obesity Centre of Neuchâtel. She is a member of the Swiss Society of Endocrinology and Diabetology and remains committed to both patient care and education of future healthcare professionals.
