Dr. Anser mahmood

Dr. Anser Mahmood is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at American Hospital Dubai, with extensive training and experience in the UK. He completed his fellowship and Masters qualifications from the College of Emergency Medicine, UK, and achieved his Completion of Certificate of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2012. He has held consultant positions at leading UK hospitals including the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Wigan and Wrexham Maelor Hospital, bringing a wealth of experience in managing acute medical emergencies.

Dr. Mahmood assesses and manages acute illness across a wide range of patient groups, including those with medical, surgical, and obstetric/gynaecological conditions. He also provides time-critical management for acute illness in paediatric and orthopaedic patients. As an examiner for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and an instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and European Trauma Course training, he combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to teaching and raising standards across emergency medicine.
