Dr. Omar Salh

Dr. Omar Salh is a Staff Physician in the Hospital Medicine Program at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He brings over 20 years of clinical experience, having previously served as a hospitalist and assistant professor of internal medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas, where he taught medical students and residents alongside his clinical practice.

Dr. Salh specializes in caring for acutely ill hospitalized patients with conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, high cholesterol, asthma, respiratory tract infections, and urinary tract infections. He completed his medical degree at Mosul University in Iraq and went on to complete internal medicine residency training in both Jordan and the United States, where he was recognized as an Academic Chief Resident. During his residency at Texas Tech, he received the Outstanding First Year Resident award and the Dean Scholarly Achievement Award, reflecting his commitment to both clinical excellence and medical education.
