Dr. Hany Bahy Gad

Dr. Hany Bahy Gad is a consultant nephrologist with over 27 years of clinical experience across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He earned his medical degree (MBBCH) and master's degree in Internal Medicine and Nephrology from Ain Shams University in Cairo, and completed his clinical fellowship in adult nephrology through the Egyptian Board in Nephrology in 2007. His career began in Egypt at Ahmad Maher Teaching Hospital, progressed through senior roles at King Fahd Military Hospital in Jeddah and King Salman Kidney Center in Riyadh, and has since 2016 been based in Abu Dhabi at NMC Healthcare.

Dr. Gad's clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of kidney disease management. He treats both chronic and acute kidney disease, manages patients on multiple dialysis modalities (standard hemodialysis, short daily dialysis, nocturnal dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis), and provides intensive care support for acute kidney injury using continuous renal replacement therapy. He also manages kidney transplant recipients, addresses glomerular (kidney filtering) diseases, and handles complex systemic conditions affecting the kidneys—including lupus, vasculitis, diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis.
