Dr. Mohamed Gamal Abousaleh

Dr. Mohamed Gamal Abousaleh is the Head of the ICU at Emirates Hospital Jumeirah, leading the critical care department as a senior intensivist. Originally from Alexandria, Egypt, he trained in critical care medicine and holds his MRCP qualification from the UK, supported by over 10 years of hands-on experience across major hospitals throughout the region.

Dr. Gamal specialises in managing the most unstable and complex patients — those on mechanical ventilation, experiencing sepsis or multi-organ failure, recovering from major trauma or cardiac events, and dealing with toxic emergencies. He treats shock, hemodynamic instability, post-arrest coma states, and complicated post-operative cases requiring intensive support.

As a member of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Dr. Gamal brings evidence-based intensive care to critically ill patients.
