Dr. Ece Tansu

Dr. Ece Tansu is a clinical psychologist with 15 years of experience in mental health diagnosis and evidence-based treatment. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Istanbul Arel University, plus master's and bachelor's degrees in clinical psychology from Istanbul Bilgi University. Beyond her clinical training, she also completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Istanbul University and a master's degree in Strategic Management (organizational psychology focus) from Galatasaray University. At Al Zahra Hospital, she combines her clinical expertise with an ongoing academic role as a lecturer and clinical supervisor in university psychology programs.

Dr. Tansu treats a wide range of mental health conditions using multiple evidence-based techniques tailored to each patient's needs. Her primary methods include EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, Lacanian psychoanalysis, mindfulness-based approaches, psychodrama, gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy, and relaxation techniques. She also brings specialized knowledge in organizational, health, school, and counseling psychology.
