Dr. Hassan Khan

Dr. Hassan Khan is an Associate Staff Physician in the Cardiovascular Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He trained in Pakistan at leading cardiac centers, completing his cardiology fellowship at Tabba Heart Institute in Karachi and earning his Fellowship in Cardiology (FCPS) from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan. With 15 years of experience, he has served as a consultant cardiologist and faculty member at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Tabba Heart Institute before relocating to Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Khan specializes in multimodality cardiac imaging — the use of several scanning techniques to diagnose heart problems. After his cardiology training, he pursued two additional years of subspecialty training in advanced cardiac imaging and holds American board certifications in comprehensive echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart), nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular CT scanning. He treats coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, heart failure, high cholesterol, and valve problems using these imaging-focused diagnostic approaches.

He has extensive teaching experience with medical students, trainee doctors, and nursing staff, and was recognized as Star Performer in 2018 at Tabba Heart Institute.
