Dr. Soraya Taeidi

Dr. Soraya Taeidi is a Consultant Neonatologist at Iranian Hospital Dubai with over 27 years of clinical experience caring for critically ill and premature newborns. She trained at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences for her medical degree and completed her neonatology specialization at Zanjan Province University of Medical School in Iran. She began her career at Mahdieh Hospital in Iran before moving to Iranian Hospital Dubai in 2007, where she continues to practice.

Dr. Taeidi specializes in the intensive care of high-risk newborns, including those with heart conditions, severe prematurity, infections, low blood sugar, and jaundice. She has extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) and other respiratory support systems, as well as procedures like umbilical catheter insertion and intubation. She also follows up with babies after they leave the neonatal intensive care unit to monitor their development and provides lactation consulting and kangaroo mother care support to help families bond and breastfeed.

Dr. Taeidi is fluent in English and Persian, and is an active member of the Iranian Society of Pediatrics and Dubai Health Authority. She is well suited for families seeking expert care for premature, critically ill, or developmentally at-risk newborns.
