Dr. A. Professor Sherif Elnikety

Dr. Sherif Elnikety is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive training across the United Kingdom. After completing his residency in trauma and orthopaedic surgery at various NHS hospitals, he undertook specialist fellowship training in upper limb surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London, one of the UK's leading orthopaedic centres. He was subsequently appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in the NHS before relocating to the Middle East.

Dr. Elnikety subspecialises in upper limb procedures, including shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand surgery. He has extensive experience in keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery, joint replacements, and open surgical procedures. Beyond elective cases, he performs complex bone fixation including intramedullary nailing (rods through the centre of bones) and plate fixations for fractures. He also specialises in joint reconstruction surgery and treats sports-related injuries, performing ligament and tendon repair procedures.

He is well suited for patients requiring specialist upper limb and sports injury care, particularly those needing minimally invasive techniques or complex reconstructive procedures.
