Dr. Arul Narayanan

Dr. Arul Narayanan is a UK-certified consultant pediatric cardiologist with over 14 years of post-training experience. He trained at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, one of Europe's largest pediatric centers, and holds fellowships from the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health. Before joining American Hospital Dubai, he served as Director of Congenital Cardiac Intervention for the North-West England Congenital Cardiology Partnership, a collaboration between two major UK cardiac centers.

Dr. Narayanan has independently performed over 2,500 interventional procedures for children and adults with congenital heart disease. His expertise spans minimally invasive keyhole cardiology, structural heart defect repair (such as septal defects), valve assessment in children, heart rhythm problems, and fetal heart screening. He is experienced in all diagnostic cardiac imaging including echocardiography, cardiac CT, MRI, and exercise testing. He also leads multidisciplinary clinics for complex cases including pulmonary hypertension, adults with congenital heart disease, and sports cardiology.

Dr. Narayanan prioritizes clear communication and family involvement in every stage of care. He works collaboratively with pediatric specialists across disciplines to provide comprehensive, patient-centered management for children and young adults with heart conditions.
