Dr. Imran Ahmad Khan

Dr. Imran Ahmad Khan is a consultant radiologist and Head of Department at Medeor Hospital Abu Dhabi, with over 17 years of clinical experience across leading hospitals in India and the UAE. He earned his MD from Aligarh Muslim University in 2007 and holds Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiology (UK). He is known for clear communication and compassionate patient care.

Dr. Imran's expertise spans paediatric radiology (neonatal brain imaging, hip ultrasound for developmental dysplasia, abdominal scans), musculoskeletal imaging (MRI of joints and sports injuries), breast imaging (diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsy and clip placement), pelvic and genitourinary MRI, cardiac CT angiography, and emergency radiology including stroke imaging and polytrauma assessment. He performs ultrasound-guided interventions including biopsies, fine-needle aspirations, marker placements and preoperative wire localisation.

As department head since 2019, Dr. Imran combines clinical excellence with leadership of the radiology team. He is committed to providing detailed explanations and supporting patients through imaging procedures, and remains actively engaged with the Abu Dhabi healthcare community.
