Dr. Nagendranath Chilumukuru

Dr. Nagendranath Chilumukuru is a consultant general surgeon with 12 years of experience in minimally invasive and complex surgical care. He completed his MS in General Surgery from Kurnool Medical College, India in 2004, followed by a DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology from Global Hospitals, Hyderabad in 2010, and a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai. He previously worked as a consultant at Kamineni Hospitals in Hyderabad before joining NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Chilumukuru treats a wide range of surgical conditions, from emergency cases such as peritonitis, complicated hernias, bowel ischemia and intestinal obstruction to complex hepatobiliary procedures including pancreatic necrosectomy, Whipple's procedure and Frey's procedure for the pancreas. He performs advanced laparoscopic surgery, bariatric procedures, major liver resections for cancer and benign tumours, and has assisted in liver transplantation. He is also experienced in varicose vein treatment and vascular surgery.
