Dr. Amani Elghafri

Dr. Amani Elghafri is a Consultant in Internal Medicine at Liv Hospital Dubai, where she leads urgent care and in-patient services. She holds board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She trained at the University of California, San Francisco and earned a Master's degree in Medical Education from Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Elghafri manages a broad range of adult health needs, from routine health checks and cancer screening to urgent medical emergencies and complex chronic conditions. She specializes in treating high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease, obesity and insulin resistance, anemia, vitamin deficiencies, asthma, and arthritis. She also provides preventive health care including vaccinations and evidence-based screening programmes.
