Dr. Myrna El Shareef

Dr. Myrna El Shareef is a European Board Certified dermatologist with more than 15 years of experience. She earned her Doctor of Medicine and Masters in Dermatology and Venereology from the American University of Beirut, and completed advanced training in dermatopathology at Columbia University and Boston University in the United States. She currently practices as a Dermatology Specialist at Mediclinic in the UAE.

Dr. El Shareef offers comprehensive dermatological care for both adults and children. She is particularly passionate about early skin cancer detection and mole mapping to catch problems before they become serious. She treats a broad range of skin conditions—including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair loss, and nail disorders—and manages severe inflammatory cases with advanced biologic therapies. Her surgical skills include mole excision and skin biopsies, while her cosmetic expertise spans injectable treatments (botulinum toxin for wrinkles and excessive sweating, fillers), laser therapies (for broken veins, pigmentation, tattoo removal, and skin rejuvenation), radiofrequency and microneedling for scars and skin tightening, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), and non-invasive fat freezing.

Dr. El Shareef is committed to enhancing appearance while preserving each patient's natural look. She is an active educator—previously an adjunct clinical lecturer at Mohammad Bin Rashid University of Medicine—and a published author, with a chapter in Fitzpatrick's Dermatology, a reference textbook widely used by dermatologists worldwide. She regularly speaks at dermatology conferences in Lebanon and the UAE.
