Dr. Asif Iqbal

Dr. Asif is an internal medicine consultant with over 15 years of clinical experience, having completed his medical degree in 2005 and specialist qualification (MD Internal Medicine) in 2010 from India. He is registered with the UK General Medical Council and holds a specialist license in Internal Medicine with the DHA. Since moving to the UAE in 2013, he has built extensive experience in hospital inpatient care, with a particular focus on patients with complex infections.

Dr. Asif's clinical interests centre on infectious diseases, tropical illnesses, and travel-related health concerns. He has completed postgraduate training at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, including a master's degree in infectious diseases and specialist training in travel medicine. This combination of internal medicine expertise and infection-focused training allows him to manage both common and unusual infections, as well as advise travellers on health risks. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Mohammad Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, contributing to medical education in the region.
