Dr. Shaima Tabari

Dr. Shaima Tabari is a Specialist Orthodontist at Mediclinic City Hospital and Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in the UAE. She holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Leeds and completed her doctorate in Orthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where her research centred on obstructive sleep apnea. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and trained in craniofacial genetics at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Before relocating to the UAE, she worked in private practices in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Tabari treats a wide range of orthodontic conditions in children and adults, including crooked teeth, misaligned bites, and dentofacial orthopedic issues (jaw and facial bone alignment problems). She offers conventional braces and clear aligner therapy (Invisalign) and has particular expertise in dental sleep medicine—treating bite and jaw problems that contribute to sleep disorders.
