Dr. Mazen Hamind is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Zulekha Hospital in Sharjah with over 30 years of international clinical experience. He holds dual German Board certifications in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, plus a PhD in Hepatology from Christian Albrecht University. Dr. Hamind trained at leading institutions in Germany and has held senior consultant positions across Saudi Arabia, Canada, and the UAE, bringing a global perspective to patient care.

His clinical expertise spans the full range of stomach, intestinal and liver disorders, with particular focus on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He performs upper and lower endoscopy with biopsy, treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding, polyp removal, tissue sampling, stent placement, gastric balloon procedures for weight management, ultrasound-guided liver biopsy, and capsule endoscopy to visualize the small bowel. He also manages pancreatology cases and esophageal motility disorders including achalasia.

Dr. Hamind is a Canadian national fluent in English and Arabic, enabling him to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. He has contributed to medical education as an Assistant Professor and remains dedicated to advancing clinical practice through his extensive procedural expertise.
