Dr. Mohamed El Naggar

Dr Mohamed El Naggar is a Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai, with 17 years of clinical experience. He trained at Tanta University in Egypt, completing both his medical degree and a master's qualification in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, and holds certification from the Egyptian Board of Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery. His career spans senior trauma hospitals across Egypt before moving to the UAE, where he has worked at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi and the American Hospital Dubai.

Dr El Naggar manages fractures and dislocations in both adults and children, with particular expertise in sports injuries affecting the knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist and ankle — including ACL tears, meniscus damage, rotator cuff injuries and Achilles problems. He performs keyhole knee surgery (arthroscopy) and offers both non-surgical and surgical treatment for joint conditions like osteoarthritis. He also administers targeted joint injections including PRP (platelet-rich plasma), hyaluronic acid and steroid treatments. Beyond sports injuries, he treats common conditions such as tennis elbow, trigger finger, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, flat foot and osteoporosis.

Dr El Naggar favours conservative (non-surgical) approaches where appropriate, particularly for neck and lower back pain. He has participated in orthopaedic conferences and workshops across Europe and the Middle East, and is a member of the Egyptian Orthopaedic Association, Egyptian Arthroscopy Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.
