Dr. Ali Mekki

Dr. Ali Mekki is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine and General Internal Medicine, registered on the UK General Medical Council Specialist Register. He holds a medical degree (MBChB), a doctorate (MD), and a master's qualification (MSc), along with fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and the American College of Chest Physicians. With over 25 years of consultant-level experience in the UK and UAE, he has developed deep expertise in managing respiratory conditions across all age groups.

Dr. Ali treats a wide range of lung and breathing problems, including shortness of breath, chronic cough, asthma, chest infections, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and lung scarring. He is experienced in bronchoscopy—a procedure where a thin camera is passed into the airways to examine the lungs—and other diagnostic lung investigations. He also manages sleep-related breathing disorders.
