About Dr. Ibrahim Turki Tamur Al Qaraghuli
Dr. Ibrahim Turki Tamur is a highly experienced general surgeon with nearly 30 years in the field. He trained in Iraq and spent several years working as a surgeon in major hospitals there before moving to Abu Dhabi in 2006. Since 2015, he has served as Consultant Surgeon and Head of the General Surgery department at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Tamur is competent in both elective and emergency surgical procedures, with particular expertise in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, gallbladder removal, thyroid surgery, breast surgery, hernia repair (including complex abdominal wall hernias), colorectal surgery, and endoscopic procedures. He also performs surgery for haemorrhoids and skin lesions. He manages a wide range of general surgical conditions across all age groups.
He prioritises holistic patient care, treating the whole person both physically and psychologically. He emphasises teamwork to ensure the best outcomes for his patients.
