Dr. Nishanth Girija Kumar is a consultant nephrologist with over 11 years of clinical experience. He trained in the United States, completing an internal medicine residency at Saint Vincent Hospital affiliated with UMass Medical School and a postdoctoral fellowship in nephrology at Baylor College of Medicine. He holds dual board certifications in nephrology and internal medicine from the American Board of Medical Specialties, plus a European specialty certificate in nephrology. In the US, he worked as a consultant nephrologist and dialysis medical director, overseeing comprehensive kidney treatment programmes at DaVita Dialysis and Merrimac Dialysis Centre in Dubai.

Dr. Kumar specialises in managing kidney disease, kidney care during pregnancy, and dialysis treatment. He is also a clinical hypertension specialist recognised by the American Society of Hypertension, with a particular focus on treating resistant high blood pressure and implementing evidence-based management protocols.
