Dr. Sameer Abbas Ahmed Sajwani

Dr. Sameer Abbas Ahmed Sajwani is a Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology at Iranian Hospital and a member of the paediatric cardiology team at Latifa Hospital, the oldest established paediatric cardiology centre in the UAE. With more than 24 years of clinical experience, he has built a reputation for diagnosing and managing complex heart conditions in children across the region.

Dr. Sajwani's clinical practice focuses on congenital heart disease (heart defects present from birth), acquired heart disease (conditions that develop over time), and cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats). He performs and interprets key cardiac investigations including echocardiography (heart ultrasound), electrocardiography (ECG), and ambulatory cardiac monitoring (Holter monitor). His expertise in cardiac electrophysiology enables him to assess and manage disorders of the heart's electrical system.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Sajwani is a founding member of the Nabadat initiative, a humanitarian programme that delivers paediatric cardiac services worldwide in partnership with the Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Charity and Humanitarian Establishment.
