Dr. Laura E. W. Chin

Dr. Laura Chin is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. She comes to Abu Dhabi with extensive training and experience from leading US academic medical centres, including Johns Hopkins Hospital where she held the rank of Assistant Professor and served as Associate Program Director of the regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine fellowship program.

Dr. Chin provides comprehensive anesthesia care across multiple areas: general anesthesia for all surgical types, regional anesthesia techniques including peripheral nerve blocks and neuraxial blocks, pediatric and neonatal anesthesia, acute and post-operative pain management, and perioperative care. She has directed anatomy and ultrasound training workshops and mentored fellows in pediatric anesthesiology, bringing both clinical expertise and a commitment to education.

With 11 years of experience and advanced training in pediatric anesthesia and regional pain techniques, Dr. Chin is well-suited for patients requiring specialized anesthesia management, complex pain control, or procedures requiring regional nerve blocks. She combines rigorous US training with an educational approach to patient care.
