Dr. Ayesha Asghar

Dr Ayesha Asghar is a Specialist Anaesthesiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. She holds an M.B.B.S. from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, where she graduated with distinction, and completed postgraduate training at Mayo Hospital. She is fellowship-trained in anaesthesiology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and brings 12 years of clinical experience in anaesthesia, critical care and perioperative medicine.

Dr Asghar's clinical practice spans general and regional anaesthesia, ultrasound-guided regional techniques, advanced airway management and perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties. Throughout her career in Pakistan, she managed complex surgical and critical care cases at leading institutions including Mayo Hospital (the country's largest public-sector tertiary hospital), National Hospital and Medical Centre, and Mukhtiar Munir Hospital.

She is a member of professional bodies including the Royal College of Anaesthetists, the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland, Emirates Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine Society, and the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care. Dr Asghar holds current licenses from the Department of Health Abu Dhabi and Dubai Health Authority, and maintains Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications.
