About Dr. Ali Nawaz
Dr. Ali Nawaz is a British-qualified emergency medicine consultant and Chair of Emergency Medicine at NMC Royal Hospital Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi. He trained in emergency medicine at South Thames London hospitals and worked as an emergency physician at Queen Elizabeth Hospital London before relocating to the Middle East. His career has included roles at Dubai Health Authority and Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, where he served as core faculty in the emergency residency training programme and member of the trauma board.
Dr. Nawaz specialises in trauma and critical care management. He is qualified as an instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and level one ultrasound. He also serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in the UK and Kings College London, and held an adjunct Assistant Professor position in Emergency Medicine at United Arab Emirates University. He has published and presented his work at international conferences.
